Geography -
- Annalise's interest in geography will be nurtured as she continues her guided and independent explorations in this area.
- She will continue to be afforded free access to assorted maps, globes,and atlases, and time to explore them and create conversation, art, and play surrounding them.
- We will continue exploring such topics as latitude and longitude; scale; fault lines; legends; time zones; and locations and geographic characteristics of counties, states, countries and continents.
- As a family, we enjoy travel, and will continue to plan and take trips throughout the Northeastern United States, and perhaps venture further afield as comfort levels and opportunity allow.
- We will explore our destinations through various print and online sources; explore potential travel itineraries; plot mileage and consider geographic features.
- We will continue physically exploring our national geography through travel, hiking, biking, and exploring museums and attractions along the way, as well as planning and mapping out itinerary.
