American History

Annalise  will be supported in her continuing explorations of local, state, and United States history, and howthis history pertains to our current time, and connects to the global climate.United States History -

• She will have access to home and public libraries;
• living history exhibits and events;
• opportunities to visit historical sites and museums;
• free access to television and computer programs and games, such as Carmen Sandiego's GreatChase Through Time, Crayola First Ladies, and America; The Story of Us;
• art and music from assorted periods in history;
• literary and news sources, including important writings and documents;
• and support in pursuing her personal interests and efforts, including  Magic Tree House  and All of a  Kind Family books, and American Girl products. 
• She will be encouraged to ask questions and suggest ideas for family history conversations, activities,and travels.
